About Our Nubians
Clean, Tested Herd
Our herd is health tested annually with no positive results ever. All our animals are guaranteed negative for CAE, Johne's Disease, and CL. We are happy to provide test results.
Show Quality
We are an extremely show focused herd. One of our top priorities in our herd is to have and produce show quality animals who will excel in the ring. We always strive for excellent General Appearance and beautiful, supportive, well attached mammary systems with capacity and teat placement on our does.
Milk
Being dairy goats, we truly expect our does to be able to MILK! Our does have strong milking data behind them and we participate in the DHIR performance program, commonly known as "milk test" to provide us and other breeders with knowledge of the volume, protein, and butterfat percentages our does produce. We are very proud to have multiple animals with ELITE genetics in their immediate pedigree. We use our milk for our family consumption and to make goat milk soap.
Conformation & Structure
Our priority in our herd is raise goats who excel in conformation and who have a strong, sturdy structure. We take part in the Linear Appraisal performance program, and we're very pleased with how our herd appraised this year!
About Our Finns

Our herd is health tested annually with no positive results ever. All our animals are guaranteed negative for OPP, Johne's Disease, and CL. We are happy to provide test results.
Milk Production
We raise dairy Finns and have worked hard to up the milk production in our ewes. We use their rich, creamy milk to make cheese, and caramel for our family. And we make soap!
Temperament
We expect all our sheep to have sweet, gentle temperaments and be easy to handle. Finnsheep are known for their docile, "puppy dog" temperaments and ours are no exception!
Maternal Genetics
Being a maternal sheep breed, Finnsheep ewes are expected to be wonderful mothers. And that is exactly what our ewes are.
Prolificacy
Our goal for our herd is to further develop the prolificacy of the Finnsheep breed. We expect all our ewes to lamb and raise triplets at minimum with no supplementation.
Conformation to breed standard
Our priority in our herd is raise lambs who conform to the Finnsheep breed standard set by the Finnsheep Breeders Association.
Our Products
Registered Breeding Stock - Finns
All our lambs sold as registered breeding stock must meet our standards for physical conformation, fleece quality, temperament, growth rate, and prolificacy. We breed for conformation to breed standard and evaluate our lambs under strict criteria.
Registered Breeding Stock - Nubians
All our kids sold as registered PUREBRED Nubians and must meet our standards for physical conformation, structure, temperament, growth rate, and future udder development. We evaluate our kids under very strict criteria and will not offer any kids for sale who we would not keep back for our own herd.
Fleece
We take great pride in our fleece quality. We always have fleeces available in many different colors. All our fleeces are raw, unprocessed, with minimal VM and long staple lengths. All our fleeces, especially our lamb fleeces, are soft and "next-to-skin".
Soap
We have both hand and body soap available for purchase. Our soap is smooth and gentle, perfect for sensitive skin and soothing dry winter hands.
